Investigating Teachers’ Language Assessment Literacy in The Implementation of the Merdeka Belajar (Freedom of Learning) Curriculum

Teachers' language assessment literacy (LAL) is critical to the success of education, quality students' learning, and willingness study. Yet, studies on teachers' LAL preparation face Merdeka Belajar (Freedom Learning) curriculum are still scarce. Most used questionnaires assess knowledge. In contrast that, this study utilized teachers’ knowledge test adapted from Al-bahlani (2019). This investigates self-perceived consisting competence, frequency practice, in The Association English Teachers Banyumas district region (MGMP) with a total 77 participants involved by investigating current two data sources, including questionnaire employ quantitative methodology using MANOVA Pearson’s product-moment correlation. results showed both strengths weaknesses LAL, as well matches mismatches between shown Overall, EFL teachers regency at fair level pre-service training was variable greatest impact LAL. Future research may also require objectives, actions, outcomes provided institutes professional development programs.
